Sink Review publishes poetry and criticism. We are excited by experimental and conceptual work. It is our goal to create a space that is inclusive and radical.

We are not currently accepting submissions.

Author’s Rights

Sink Review receives first North American Publishing Rights and Archival Rights. Following publication, all rights revert back the author.

Contributors will retain final say prior to publication in the event we suggest modifications and/or copyedits. Simultaneous submissions are encouraged — just let us know as soon as possible if your work has been accepted elsewhere. We do not accept previously published work.

Sarah Trudgeon

Managing Editor

Sarah Trudgeon is a 2015 Poetry Society of America 30 and Under Chapbook Fellow and author of the chapbook Dreams of Unhappiness, selected and introduced by Don Paterson. Her poems have appeared in the London Review of Books, The Nation, The Paris Review, and The TLS. She is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the MFA program at the University of Florida.

Dan Magers


Dan Magers’s first book of poems, Partyknife, (Birds, LLC) was described by Thurston Moore “as if poet-ghost adrift thru dressing rooms backstage taking notes…Writing poems like these is just as good as starting a band.” His newest chapbook Spiritual Grave Year is published by Reality Beach. Magers is a founder of the online poetry journal Sink Review and the handmade chapbook press Immaculate Disciples Press, which focuses on poetry book and artist collaborations. He lives in Chicago.

Steven Karl

Editor in Chief

Steven Karl is the author of Sister (Noemi Press, 2016) and Dork Swagger (Coconut Books, 2013). Born in Philadelphia, he was raised in South Jersey and currently lives in Tokyo, Japan with his wife, the translator, Hitomi Yoshio and their daughter, Emma. He teaches writing online for Florida International University.
