Correspondences
A partially erased version of Samuel Beckett’s 1951 novel Malone Dies, created by poet Zachary Pace and mailed as a gift to Danniel Schoonebeek:
A letterpressed reproduction of part of Yvonne Rainer’s “No Manifesto” (1951), mailed as a Christmas card by one of Poor Claudia’s co-editors, Stacey Tran, to Danniel Schoonebeek:
The fronts and backs of two postcards written back and forth between poets Eileen Myles and Danniel Schoonebeek. Danniel’s postcard is a Weegee photograph, scratched up with pen along its border, and which later became the cover art for his forthcoming book, C’est la guerre. The origin of Eileen’s postcard, at least to me, is unknown:
Coney Island Beach (1940), Weegee — Danniel Schoonebeek to Eileen Myles
“Dear Eileen” — Danniel Schoonebeek to Eileen Myles
“Two lads with toys around 1910” — Eileen Myles to Danniel Schoonebeek
“Dear Danniel” — Eileen Myles to Danniel Schoonebeek
