Matt Bollinger has his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute and his MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. His painting Hypnosis with Concentric Circles is part of a body of work depicting a fictional band and an artist collective, which was shown at Plane Space in New York City in 2008. His current body of work, developed from memories of growing up in Kansas City, can be seen on his website: www.mattbollinger.com. In the fall he will be living in Provincetown, MA where he will be a “Fellow” at the Fine Arts Work Center.
